Should Student Have Homework?
Homework is a very important part of school work done at home because it helps students to revise the lessons taught at school. Homework is equally important to every kind of students. Especially, to those students who are not doing well in a given field of studies. Actually, homework’s importance depend on its purpose. And why is it given?
The advantage of having homework is that it improves the student’s skills and helps him/her gain knowledge. It also makes students spend more time studying instead of playing games. Nowadays, more games and having a high technology things have been invented, including online games, hand phone, computer etc... That distract students emotions and attention away from studying and to concentrate more on games.
Aside from that, students may spend more time going out instead of staying home to study. That makes them vulnerable to bad influences from bad friends. There are also disadvantages to having homework. Let’s say, teacher gives too much homework everyday, that will probably make the student’s life stressful and boring and might lead to skipping classes.
Nonetheless, homework is very important. No matter what reasons for not doing it one may utter, it is still essential to the success of all students.
